Picked more strawberries yesterday, well bowlfuls.
Picked more broad beans and Asparagus today.

Picked the first Broad Beans, mange tout peas, Kale, Spinach and about 1kg of new potatoes. And a couple of pea pods, but they didn't make it home!

First time back from the plot this year with several carrier bags full.  1 was outer leaves of cabbage and lettuce for the chickens, but a nice haul for us - Wizard beans, cabbage, several lettuce, our first courgette and a little bunch of sweet peas

First of the potatoes: 340g from a Duke of York plant. Flavour OK.

First carrots today: Nantes 5, grown outside under fine mesh. Lovely

Strawberries, Griselle shallots, garlic and overwintering onions. Should ripen up well in the forecasted warm weather.

[Plot 1 Problems]

My first 'proper' harvest of the year: A good picking of peas, a tub stuffed full of oregano for drying and freezing, strawberries and huge helping of chard & perpetual spinach. Great to be finally getting stuff off the plot!

A ridiculous number of strawberries, raspberries, blackcurrants, asparagus and the first of the beetroots-small size but OK.

More strawberries,this time from the hanging baskets in the greenhouse, more broad beans from the Lottie & the first of the beetroots oh & 2 onions that were loose when I was weeding.

Bucket loads of broad beans, some for the freezer.
Gooseberries, rhubarb and strawberries.
Asparagus.
Carlingford, Foremost, Internationl Kidney and Charlotte potatoes.
Spinach and Swiss chard.
Turnips.
Greenhouse lettuce.

I got this lot yesterday, along with a couple of cabbages, lettuce and Wizard beans.  Just 1 lot of garlic yet to harvest now.

Also, the last of the foremost potatoes, 2 of the 3 remaining cabbages & my friend went away with a large bag of lettuce leaves.
