 Well accidents happen, i missed the hand rail at the top of the stairs, and yes i fell backwards down the stairs going bump thump bump and as i hit the floor at the bottom ouch ouch but still in one piece, battered and bruised i stood up, husband laughing what did you do that for i felt like giving myself  more pain what do you think.
Well i shall be black and blue tomorrow and a bit sore.
The thing is put more water with it i don't even drink

I've only done three stairs before falling, that was before I had my knee replacement.  Second one is due in September, and the hope is that this will mean I don't have to have my hips done as well. I call going to bed 'climbing Everest', and that last stair is twice as high as the others (or so it seems). It took me three weeks to be able to go upstairs on my own .I do so hope you feel better tomorrow,  Arnica is very good on bruises and so is the green linament we used to use on the horses (but it smells nasty and 'lingers').

Both these are brilliant took all my bruises away from having both my knees done, also used the other one on horses which i had. Hope your feeling better today

thank you for your kind messages, yes it could have been so much worse i dread to think what falling down 12 steps backwards could have done .
Well i have a sore head ear hip right side and my lower leg from knee to toes, now it is black and blue, i did go to minor injury unit at Penrhos in holyhead, there was only 2 people in front of me, i had it checked then x-ray done,all done within an hour no breaks just bruising to tendons, muscles and soft tissue,i must say the care i had was amazing for someone like me who suffers from horrible anxiety around people so a big thank you to all the staff .
