Hello all, I have a piece of ginger that is making a bid for reproductive recognition, should I bother helping it on it's way or is it too much bother. There seem to be many conflicting views.
If I do decide to give it a chance, can you offer me any guidance?

Thanks mum, interesting reading. As I thought, not really worth the bother, we do eat a lot of ginger.

I've got 2 shoots so I'll try it anyway, just for the hell of it.
