what does everyone do with the spent compost that comes in bags?

tip in on the veg patch and dig it in

Re use it for sowing seeds in it  :oops:  or grow lettuce in it or throw it in with the hens lor chuck it on the garden just depends what I need at the time.

Have used it to fill raised beds mixed with rotted horse muck.
