When we had surplus (not happening these days!), I used to give them away to friends, family and neighbours . . .  but did accept 'pocket money' for the girls!

We've been supplying the family and still will but have decided everyone else will pay 10p an egg, they supplying there own box, so the girls have earned £1.20 towards their food, clever girls :D

I had a deal with a friend who was also a bloomin' good hairdresser. I kept her in eggs, she did my hair. Cuts, perms, the lot. All was OK till I lost my hens to the fox and the dog, so I started to cook for her instead. Now, my new girls are doing so well, I should be able to start offering eggs as well as my fruit breads and meat pies. Im sure Ive got the better bargain, as my hair grows very quickly!

I sell eggs to the people in work currently I go through 2 to 2 1/2 dozen a week!! Means I get the keep the chickens for free since about £5 a week, the only down size is it means I have no eggs when i want them normaly.

Guess my chickens are on the way......
