New Girls
« on: June 06, 2012, 17:26 »
I could just do with some advise.  I am looking at adding 4 girls to my existing group of 6 girls.

Initially they are going into a coop of there own with an attached run, but hopefully I am wanting to intigrate them with my original 6 girls.  Both the coops are are going to be in my acre grass paddock.

Any advise on the best way to proceed would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks :D

whichever way you do it you will more than likely still get the pecking order squabbles. Put the new girls in at night but during the day make sure you several feeders, drinkers and hiding places  :)
Staffies are softer than you think.

Once past their quarantine period and especially if you have kept them insight of each other, with the amount of space you have integration should not be too traumatic. Ensure there are several feeding and water stations to avoid squabbles over food etc. :)
Experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted!!
