small chicken
« on: July 22, 2008, 22:16 »
Hi all, I`m concerned about one of my chickens, i bought her at 12 weeks old with  9 others they are now 17 weeks old, she was smaller than the others about 2 thirds the size, she seems to be feeding ok and scrats around and roosts ok she sometimes stumbles and falls over so I gave her alook over tonight, she seems thinner & lighter than the others.
Her poo seems to be ok,vent clean with no signs of parasites.
Anyone know if there is something wrong with her or am I being  too cautious.
Geoff  :(

Marek's Disease springs to mind because of the stumbling.  Do you know if they were vaccinated at day old ?
