Eggs to hatch

If you are saving eggs to make up a batch for hatching where should they be stored prior to setting under the bird please. Is it normal outdoor temperature or warmer/colder?

just a cool shed will do
rotate them every 12 hours .

yes for duck eggs i hav still hatched em after 6 days ( pheasant eggs )

Sorry don't quite understand how long can they wait before going under the bird?

its the 6 days bit that got me, can you only wait 6 days then set under those eggs or can you wait till you have say 8 eggs maybe over 10 days and they will be ok?
