Just a few moments ago a new chick comes into the world

I'm so proud

I take it that if 1 hatches the conditions (humidity and temp) are ok, and others should (finger crossed) hatch ?

Will the churping this one is making encourage the others to come out?

A bit of an update, as you can see 1st chick doing well

Now waiting for brothers or sisters to immerge, a couple of eggs are pipping right now

Hi everyone,

First hatch update,

Here are the first four under a lamp,

I know chickens are intelligent but reading the paper so soon

I have another one drying off and 3 more pipping and this is on day 23,

I may have a problem with one of the pippings, it’s breaking the shell,
as it does it’s starting to bleed, any advice of what to do would be greatly appreciated.
