I had one of those many moons ago but lost it somewhere during one of my many moves. I really liked it.  I thought they'd disappeared forever

I like to make pastry with the food processor and I use lard for savouries. The last recipe I used was Jamie Olivers and it had added cheese. I made mine with that lovely golden flour.  I have a quiche/pie tin with all holes in the bottom so you get  crisper finish

I suppose you are using plain flour .  SR flour makes pastry a bit soft and doughy.

Yep, i do use plain flour.

I didn't do any baking last night as the OH wanted to go to a few home shops as we're re doing the kitchen.
I don't mind doing it, as part of the condition of me doing it is that i get a Kenwood food processer a Kenwood food mixer with blender attachment at the back and a Kenwood hand whisker, i wanted magimix but alas the price was over double at well over a grand and the OH said no as i was just being a label tart  :(

Anyhow at the end of the shopping in Asda for the butter (etc) i had a bit of a funny turn went dizzy and couldn't focus so OH drove home feeding me Yum Yums to get my blood sugar back up as i hadn't eaten form getting up at 06:00 to 18:30 at night.

I have been packed up for today and been told to eat it all up like a good boy ::)

They are good but mine went rusty  :(

I always put pie dishes on to a hot pizza tray  ;)
