cooking jalapenos
« on: August 11, 2011, 08:19 »
I have grown jalapenos for the first time this year and googled how to stuff and cook them.  Double dipping in egg and breadcrumb was suggested, but trying last night resulted in the egg falling off!  The outsides are very shiny (and slippery) any foolproof suggestions please?

Dip them in flower first this helps the egg stick to the outside then dip them in the breadcrumbs.

Flour......Egg......Breadcrumbs.....Deep Fry.....Eat.....Yum Yum.....Ouch       ;)

Use them in your chilli con carne, or preserve them for use on nachos. :)
