Howard 352
« on: August 04, 2013, 17:57 »
Hi,
Am restoring a Howard 352 and need to fit a different engine. The old engine was not the original Briggs and Stratton. Can anyone inform me of the centre height of the engine shaft above the steel block on which the original engine stood?

Well, I put this into Google, (other search engines are available) And found 232,000 hits.  I searched on
"howard 352 rotavator manual"
See if these will help you.

Thanks for the time spent looking. I've manuals and parts lists for the350. The main difference between the 350 and the 352 is the 'clutch system' and this is the bit I'm having problems with. The system works by an idler pulley tightening the belt. I'm having problems getting the belt to stop so I can get it in gear.
