Wild bird seed

Hi All, just a quickie is it ok for hens to eat wild bird seed----Fred
2 x Warrens, 5 x ex batts, 3 x Daughters, 5 x grandsons, 1 x granddaughter, 1 x wife, this is enough for 1 x man

As a once every so often treat yes, but the corn and nuts that are usually in wild bird seed will be higher in fat content, so not an everyday thing :)

They are best off having layers and a handful of mixed corn about an hour before bed :)

the birds in my garden get fed mixed poultry corn in their feeders, and then the chucks clear up what falls, so there is not much left at the end of the day
