Can anyone help me please?

I have a qualcast petrol hedge trimmer and have taking it apart to reshaping  the cutters and a part fell out I have not got a clue wear it goes all I know it is called a fix plate

By looking at it the it is quite obvious that the right hand component fits over where the shiny bits are just in front of the coupling and the mucky bit fits over the top.
Please note this is observation only.

hi the metal bit fits behind the blade the plastic bit slides in to a slot over the blades holding the blades in place when the covers replaced Jezza
