Post by: brytheold on May 10, 2014, 22:57
Hi all, well finally my 1975 mountfield rotovator decided to commit suicide !!.
carbon deposit fell off completely jamming piston and put a massive gash in bore.
Will I never learn to de-coke engine at end of season,no chance of parts so have
put 35 sprint engine from an old lawnmower on,works just as well but had to weld extension
on shaft to fit pulley.

bodging is making chairs in the coppices using green wood on a pole lathe, old traditional craft, they would also use axes and adzes to form the chair seats.
