Well pretty much that really........ i have been given from a fellow freecycler (god i love that scheme) a box of wine making equipment some of it is so old its priced in d's
In the box of bits is a tube of camden tablets and i cant see a best before or sell by on the tube so am not sure if they should have one or its rubbed of with age? Can anyone help?
Kind regards Nicky

I very much doubt it, if the tablets are still hard and havent been exposed to humidity/water. sodium metabisulphite i think is very stable, google it to check.

if it's ancient, and of unknown heritage, chuck it, that's my advice

Ok thank you for that i will throw them out.

Reckon so. If they were priced in £sd then they must be over 36 years old!

Im not sure what these where priced at but some bits from boots where 13 and a half p  back then it was a lot i expect.
I went through the box and couldnt believe what i was seeing but its got some great bits in but i think alot will have to be thrown out sadly.
Kind regards Nicky

13 1/2p is decimal though.

I know it was a box this guy had obviously collected over the years and prices where in d's and pence so its been hanging around a bit by the looks.

well if it was 131/2p, that is still pretty old, and the last ones I bought about 5 years ago were over £1!
