 :)the vet gave me a brilliant tip when giving tylan to my hens put black currant in the warm woter they loved it
so black current helped the medicine go down :happy:

I was stunned that they hens will actually drink the water with tylan in it as it is extremely bitter...... I know as I got some in my mouth  :wub: :wub: :wub: :wub:  Big mistake :(

Not a good idea healthwise either :(
I love Pekins, Polands and Seramas :) and eggs!!!

mine drink tylan in water quite happily when they need to (however they have no other source of water if they are on medication) but may try the blackcurrant next time to encourage them to drink more - thanks for passing this tip on  :)

 :)the first day i put it in they were like kids in a sweet shop i'd never seen them drink so much in a short time before, the second day they took their time with it
when the cold weather arrives again i will try them with warm black current drink first thing and see if they still enjoy it or if it was just a novelty for them
