Determined to get a few cucs this year.

I have access to a 15 metre long greenhouse and use plastic orange fencing with a mesh of some 6" attached to a long wire.  Obtainable from building stores.  Seems most stuff is cheaper if you buy stuff meant for other purposes.

one strand of baling twine planted with the cuc when it goes into its final pot and attached to roof of greenhouse works a treat, same for toms too  :)

Chicken wire - once up last years. Mine's been there at least 10 now.
Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

canes - easy to put in place and easy to pack away when the space is needed.  ;)

Ah but string will not form a rigid frame that can be anchored to the sides of a lean-to greenhouse to hold tomato canes  & cucumbers.  ;)

I tie all my canes from one end to the other to/with a length of string  :)

There is obviously no right or wrong way, we all have our own preferences  ;)

That's quite right mum. ;) Our string is a good temporary, quick to put up and to take down, arrangement in our lean to whose normal function is a tool store/potting shed. :)

My chicken wire just lines the side of the greenhouse. No taking up or down, doesn't get in the way. Not had to do anything with it in the last 10 years.
