An unexpected delight:  had my first asparagus last night - I noted them poking through the earth when I was at the allotment before but yesterday about a dozen were pickable. And these have been in 5 years so I cant wait for them to come en masse

And some of my other asparagus which I have denied light to get white asparagus are coming along. Very exciting.

Wow that's early! Just spotted first one coming through yesterday - 4th year for mine so I might pick a few - yippee!

No sign of mine yet  I even had a little scratch around yesterday and there's nothing to be seen.

Very impressed Ian A -- I have been weeding mine today and no sign yet but as we will be away for a few days shortly I guess that is when they will spring out. Sodde's Law.

Yep mine are through aswell ian i noticed them today at the lottie, only four stems but its a start
