Raspberry canes - how many to plant

Hi all,

This seems like a dumb question, but how many raspberry canes should I plant out in each 'hole'? Say I've got 10 canes, should I plant 1 cane per hole or put two or three in each hole?

One cane per hole.  Each cane will make several shoots of growth and loads of offshoots.  If planted several to a hole you will get a tangle of growth.
