Last year's garlic...

I left my garlic to dry out and then I cut off the top leaves. They are still in a cardboard box in my conservatory which is pretty cold just at the moment.

I wanted to pickle most of it to preserve it but some of the bulbs feel a bit powdery and empty. Will the rest of the firm ones still be ok do you think?

I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
