Do beans grow clockwise?

I've only tied them on so one is encouraged to go clockwise and the other anti, I've left the top bit loose so it can go which way it wants

It's an interesting fact about the growth of runner beans, though you could have saved the trouble, they just wind themselves up without you and a little fleece skirt round the bottom, protects them from winds nicely, strings don't.
