Shallots
« on: December 04, 2016, 19:03 »
Planted my shallots about a month ago but although can see the brown tops of them in the soil, no growth yet nor from my garlic which I have successfully grown each year. Never grown shallots before so wasn't sure if being impatient with them?

They grow lots of roots before you see any top growth and this cold will slow them down a bit - I wouldn't worry about them though, they usually come through when they're ready  :)
