I put a post on here last friday as my little Arancana had cut her foot on chicken wire, when i looked at her more closely i thought she had broken her middle toe! so took her to the vets on the Saturday morning where the vet confirmed that she had indeed broken it, i made a choice to have the toe amputated, vet bill was going to be about £70, but as she is only about 20 weeks old, i guessed if in the spring she starts laying i can hatch some eggs and get my money back from her, well she has had her operation today and every thing was a success, she is in one of the brooders, eating and drinking, she is a fiesty thing, so i think she will be ok. Final bill was £103 which was a bit more than expected, but i think she will be worth it.
Lets just hope she doesn't turn out to be a HE!!!!!!!!!!!!
