Title: Hardwood Chip suppliers?

Hello all,

I recently got back into chicken keeping and prefer to use hardwood chippings for the run. I was just wondering if anyone had any particular recommendations for any suppliers out there. I'm on a budget so hoping to find something not too expensive if possible. I need to get a 1 metre cubed bulk bags worth.

The chicken keepers on our site get delivers from local tree surgeons free of charge, if that helps

Depending on your neck of the woods you are in,  how about asking the cooper of a traditional brewery?  I have a sack of chippings I use in which to store the carrots and parsnips.
