Nice to get a pic of where you spend some of your time instead of just descriptions MoS!  :)

Is the rose behind the garden bench a David Austin "English Rose"? (Looks like one, but I'm not sure enough of that to even hazard a guess as to which variety.)
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

Nice photos ... you can't beat a garden bench with a great view  :D. It was a long wait for your cuttings to flower, but well worth it !

Lovely to see your garden and very pretty it is too. I think that you must be better at watering than me, mine is all looking rather dried up! :)

Love the oleander - sit looking at it for long enough and you could be forgiven for thinking you were in Zakynthos at the moment!

I'm now inspired to increase my collection of roses.  I have shied away from them in the past as I have always thought that they don't seem to flower for long enough to justify taking up so much valuable space in my garden, but I have been to my mother in law's garden this week and she has loads of roses in a small space and it looks simply gorgeous and the scent is just divine!  Your beautiful photos have just tipped me over the edge!

Oh dear, I foresee an expensive trip to the garden centre looming....

No matter how many plants I have in my garden, I can always find room for one more.

They are beautiful pictures Mum, love your morning cuppa bench! Do the roses have a scent?
