I popped in to Aldi to do my shopping today to find lots of vegetable gardening bargains.
I bought some asparagus crowns at £1.79 for 2. I will use these to fill in the gaps where some of mine were seen off by flooding and the beast from the East last year. At the same price they also had strawberries, rhubarb, shallots, onion sets.
They also had seed potatoes for £1.49 a 1kg bag.
Multipacks of vegetable and flower seeds with approx 8 or 9 varieties in each for 99p.
