are sweet peas ideal for containers? I was hoping to put a container down by the fence with netting against the fence for them to climb up. :?:

I grew sweet peas (and runner beans) in containers for many years.  Keep them watered very well though and feed with tomato fertiliser.

We grow seetpeas up nets tied to the side of our greenhouse from containers to use as a form of shade which has always worked in the past.  It is the sidethough that only gets the sun until midday so use coolglass on the other.
