I have a couple of Botanico Let's Grow propagators. They've been pretty reliable so far. I think mine were 15 or 20 quid each, but they prices vary from place to place, so you need to shop around. They came with free seeds too.

It's not thermostatically controlled so some caution is required if using it to germinate seeds (a la damp tissue paper in a plastic container) but I've found a piece of cardboard under the container works a treat.  :)

For anyone interested there is a Parasene Three-In-One Propagator on ebay at £29 and 7 days to go.

If at first you don't succeed, try a different method.

OH would throw a fit.  I cover the dining table from January to May as it is, so we all have to have a plate on our laps.  :lol:

The prices seem to vary from site to site for electric propagators. Keep an eye out for the stewarts electric propagator, I got one  for £49 2 years ago, it hasn't let me down yet
