Potatoes

hiya

Sorry if this is a dumb question but does anyone know what variety of potatoes Pembrokes are? They are my favorite tasting new spud but only seem to be able to get them while working/holidaying in Wales.

Also is it possible to go to Wales, buy a bag of Pembrokes and use them as seed potatoes next year??

Really sorry if these are stupid questions

Looks like they are a new potato called Pembrokeshire Potatoes or Pembrokes from that part of Wales. They even have a potato festival!! http://qualitycottages.blogspot.com/2010/05/pembroke-potato-festival-june-5th-2010.html

Isn't it just where the potato festival was held. It didn't read as a variety to me.

It says Lady Crystal / three varieties here
