We're petrol powered with hurricane lamps on our plot.  Lamps in the GH and shed for dark evenings, and a petrol mower (found under my dad's hedge when he moved house) together with a petrol powered water pump covers everthing we need.  Tea is supplied by a thermos, or by going home 100yds away and making a brew there   Peeing is done direct to the compost my those suitably equipped, and in a bucket in the shed for those who aren't
