They're really cute!!  ;)
The glass is neither half empty or half full - it is simply the incorrect size! Find a new glass!

What an amazing motion picture of #2!

How big will they eventually grow?
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

The jumping pic was a fluke, jumped as it fired.

Around 7-9 inches with tails (which are often shed) If they shed them, they do not regrow like other gecko's.
The tail is pre-hensial, can grip with it.

Come from New Calcedonia (nr australia), thought extinct, re-discovered 1994.
Live around 10-20 years from internet searches.

Eat fruit with added artificial Crested Gecko Diet & bugs.

My hands are big as lady hands go, but they are still tiny.  :)

Forgot, they can cheep like little birds & the pics are of them "fired down", the colours can intensify at night/mood & change to almost black/orange. But will also change with age & colour Morph.

They are fab Spottymint.  How are they to look after and do they become in any way tame?/ do they enjoy being stroked?  My son is mad about lizards and geckos but so far we have avoided getting any.  Would you recommend as a pet?

They are amazing!
Be like a duck. Calm on the surface but always paddling like the dickens underneath.

Hi Tigerwren,

Yep, they are pretty easy providing you do your homework.

Basic care is room temps, 18 lowest to 28 highest max , but not prolonged heat as they will overheat & die. Room temps are generally fine, no heat required.

Nocturnal, don't need UV light, but many people provide it.

Humidity 60-80%, spray their viv & use eco earth as a base.

Eat crested Gecko diet, many people use the imported one's repashy/clarke's. with mashed soft fruit, not citrus or bananas.

Live food ( not everyone feeds these) dusted with nutrobol vitamins.

Can be handled, become tame, can jump, tweet like birds.
