been knicking the cardboard tubes carpet comes on for the show stuff... very liberating

Good idea. You just don't want to get them too wet or the glues might go a bit strange.

there all slotted into a big barrel with gravel and drainage, as they're not going to be eaten I don't worry about the glue and wetting will be a possitive bonus when getting them out
