Sorry folks, I haven't had a chance to get back to the plot since that post!
However, the ones in the garden are now beginning to flower too  :lol:  I'll give those an day or two then check them .... if theres any decent spuds I'll post a pic  8)

Right, I've been at the plot most of the day, so had a dig round the side of my spuds .... just teeny weeny baby ones there  :(  So another few weeks, me thinks  :lol:

Mine went in on 28/03, so although flowering I reckon another 5 weeks yet.

BTW l-m-p, I'm erring on the optimistic side - just bought an ol hessian potato sack, for all my hooooordes of tatties. If ever I just get 4 thumbnail-sized ones, like one man who grew in tyres, there'll be tears  :lol:

:lol:  Same here! This is the first time I've grown so many .... just grew them in pots or in small bit of garden before I had my plot .... so fingers crossed  :wink:

I planted my Rocket first Earlie's on the 9th March. A few days later I wish that I hadn't because we then had a prolonged spell of cold weather for the rest of March.

Anyway, they did all come up and of my 50 plants about three now have flowers and others hare showing flower buds. Can't wait to taste them.
99% Organic and 1% Slug Pellets.

Allotment holder since 27th May 2007.
