I am new so I hope I have added this to the correct section.
I have just bought a 2nd hand R-Com 20 Incubator but now find it uses evaporating pads as it is a 2007/8 model.
I have not paid for it yet but I am unsure about the pads & should I have gone for a newer model.
Can anyone help?

The pads work and work well. It is an added regular cost but they are not too expensive.
I use the Corti incubators myself you can get an AF50 for the same money as an Rcom.
