Courgette seeds....

i dont think it matters, but i always the seeds on their edge so they look like this <_) on the top of the soil and push them down

No mattwragg94 that has helped and I understand what you're saying.  I suppose that way you're covering all angles and if you've had success doing it that way, who am I to argue with it.  I'll give that a try.  Thanks also Willow_Warren I'll do some flat then and some on their edge.  Happy days!   

If you plant them flat, they are more liable to rotting than if you put them in sideways or endways! 

hhmm,that's interesting,never thought about it before,just put them in fat end down and they grow
