I planted them last November, and now they are full of young bean pods.

I am wondering how long I can keep harvest on them and when the ground could be used again? I knew their roots should stay and they are full of Nitrigion and is good for cabbages.

anyone has experiences please? so i can decide when to sow cabbage seeds.

My Nov planted ones were all done by late June early July last year. This year they are behind that schedule. With the cooler, wetter weather of late the bees aren't around as much and the plants themsleves whilst seeming happy enough aren't moving into serious bean making just yet either. I followed mine with dwarf curly Kale last July and that went OK with decent results.

Our 'Aquadulce Claudia'   have loads of luxuriant top growth, but very few flowers or beans.      Cheers,     Tony.

If you have small pods now they will probably be filled and picked within about 3 weeks.

Cabbage seeds sown now will be 6 weeks before they are ready to plant out.

You can plant cabbage plants just beside the row of beans before the beans are finished and then just remove the beans. Just be carefull when you are picking the beans that you do not tread on the cabbages.

I planted bb too close. no way I can plant anything near them. will plant some kale plants, also temping some dwarf french beans, not sure if they like thenitrigon rich soil.
