All of mine survived the frost, snow and floods but we're relatively balmy here on the South coast. Some have fallen over. Should I support them? I've got a parallel row of peas that have fared slightly worse. I was thinking I could put something up between that both could get support from??? Help!!!

I moved my aquadulce from the house to the greenhouse but lost half to the mice the rest will probaly pull through though they have a few black bits on the leaves too. My best crop was when I sowed them indoors in jan then planted out the blackfly still came but I got a fair few beans first

i always start mine off in a propagator in Dec then plant them into bio pots then start to harden them off just before Christmas and they are usually ok.

over many years I have planted broad beans in Autumn and Spring,  if the Autumn sown crop comes thru the winter they crop about 3 weeks earlier than the spring sown one. So to be honest I dont bother - I just sow very early in modules under glass now (end Jan/early Feb), plant out into final blocks in March.....
