since i got my chooks and ducks, they have slept in the goats house.

dad put in some nest boxes and perches and they seem to be quite happy.

dad came around today and asked if i would be in tomorrow morning to take delivery of my new coop.

he runs his own business and works on the docks, sometimes when the tide is wrong they cant do much, so it turns out that a few weeks back he went on the internet and got himself a book about making chicken coops. and when ever they havent been able to work, he's had his lads making a new coop. with nest boxes so you can collect the egg s from outside and a ramp up to the door.

im so excited, i cant wait. the girls went to bed early so they can pack for the big move.

i will take a picture tomorrow. its such a wonderful surprise - who needs diamonds??/

ive never had red mites yet.

would it be a good idea to give the girls a good dusting before they move in as a precaution?
