Title: Solent White Garlic
Post by: Jeff Glanrhyd on February 17, 2010, 14:54: Just seen the excellent video - so can anyone advise if Solent White garlic bulbs are available in most garden centres or do I have to get buymail order?
Also can you buy British grown bulbs in supermarkets - if so are they any good for planting?

Post by: plum crumble on February 17, 2010, 15:04: Hiya - I usually send off for my Solent Wight - good suppliers on ebay. I wouldn't plant anything from the supermarket - you won't know its full provenence, and therefore what its growing and storing characteristics are.

Once you open that there is a link on the righthand side to videos on you tube.
Have a look there :)
