Title: Any tips on watering greenhouse beds?
Post by: Maxine Groobey on June 17, 2012, 10:40
Hi all, I'm putting raised beds in my greenhouse and thought I might try a wicking bed! Thing is I'm not overly sure about the size of pipe to lay in the bottom and what stops the holes getting blocked? Has anyone used a wicking bed? Or any tip on watering greenhouse beds?

Ive not heard the term wicking bed but then im new to this game. I would look into seepage hose or get a hose and sprinkler setup for inside the greenhouse the water going everywhere will keep the humidity up which is often a good thing.

Other than that I just use a good ol fashioned watering can or hose pipe.
