gooseberry sawfly

i have read numerous responses regarding prevention of the sawfly.

can you tell me what i can do with my bush now it has been stripped bare. do i prune it back just like any autumn ready for next year.

You can prune it if the bush actually needs it, but mine grew leaves back very quickly and has made  very good recovery  :D :D
