Think my beetroot seeds had one random one in them!  Although at least it was still a beetroot!

Somehow I have peas with sweet peas. Do not ask how this has happened as even I can tell the difference between the two seeds.

Tumbling toms are tumbling over one another to be the tallest plant weve grown!! Infact, I shall tumble over in shock if we see any toms at all!! Weve got a dwarf been that looks like ivy, which is really weird. Makes it a whole lot more exciting though - its like veg roulette!! Next year I may mix up all my seeds in a big bucket and surprise myself with the results  !

In the middle of a tray of lettuces was what looked like a chilli ...thought I must have misplaced it when sowing... but it's a sweet pepper and I haven't sown any of those this year! doing rather well too :)

Now then - hang onto some seeds from those... if they are truly pink (real pink) they could be worth a bomb. Dobbies, Suttons or some other large seed company might be very interested!!

After all those "black" tomatoes are very expensive and they'd go nicely with a row of pink ones!!  :)

I've just thought (as you do now and then) taking several different seeds that need similar germination conditions and should be sown at roughly the same time of year, mixing the lot together and sowing a couple of rows across the plot could be an interesting experiment. It should fool some of the bugs and nasties and it might look very different  ::)

They are definitely pink. Now that I have others ripe too, including some red ones, it is really obvious.

Might just try a seed or two from them next year, but with the mix I have in the greenhouse, who knows what they might be like.

Could always send in a photo I suppose, and make my fortune (you can have one too Learner as it was your idea -- plant I mean, I don't have spare fortunes at the moment  actually I don't have nay fiortunes come to think of it

I'd love a pink tomato plant!! I would most definitely not plant it outside - blight again this year  :tongue2:

And as for fortunes...(financial ones).. not in our job. :(
