Title: A happy event in the fishtank
Post by: New shoot on June 04, 2011, 17:54
My planted tropical tank is coming up to 6 months old now and settling well.  The plants have done their die back bit and are now resprouting and growing well. I've got algae eaters, some Ember Tetra, some Cherry Shrimps and 5 Lampeyes who all seem happy.

The Lampeyes must be particularly comfortable as discovered a tiny perfect little Lampeye the other day and he's still doing well.  He dashes in when the fish flake goes in and pinches all the little bits the others have missed  :)  Lampeyes are small anyway (4cm) and this little fishy is minute but there's no holding him at feeding time :D

Great New Shoot! :D We had a tropical tank, but a few years ago, they are fascinating to watch. :)
