Title: Ex battery hens in Northamptonshire
Post by: raechi on May 04, 2009, 16:15
Hi there,
I have just got 4 ex bats, and am loving having my girls. My mum has now decided she wants some hens - but i cant find anywhere local.
I'm in Cambs, so its a bit too far for her to come. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Rachael

Chickens in Cambs - hi, i got mine from Cambs hen rescue. They have a web site, just google cambridgeshire hen rescue. They have specific days you can pick them up from. We had to go to Wisbech and get ours.
Bless her one of our new girls even laid an egg for us on the journey home...

Hello Raechi,

Have a look here at henrehomers, they have local co-ordinators that work nationally, I am sure there is a local point near you. I think the next rehoming day will be sometime in June, the date hasn't been finalised as yet :)

Incidently I have 2 exbatts left over from this week end if anyone is able to give them a good home in the Bristol/Bath area ;)
