My dogs will eat the chicken poo occasionally, but even worse is that the hens will eat the dog poo if I'm not quick picking it up

First time I saw my dog lapping up a bucket of thick manure tea I nearly passed out. Was on the phone fast to a vet who told me dog's innards can take such stuff easily and not to worry. Since then I've kept the teas away from my dogs, but my current dog has been eying the fairly fresh chicken poo pile that's very wet from recent rain. She adores rolling in it. No idea what the fascination is but it doesn't impress me

Ooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh nooooooooooo! Couldn't cope with that! We clear any dog poo very quickly anyway, but if one gets left the chooks haven't touched it.

We both go round with a long handles dustpan picking up chicken poo, and the dogs know not to shovel it down (as long as they think we are watching!) A bit of sand from the dog's sandpit on the watery ones makes those easier to sweep up.
