Title: new to me allotment
Post by: Debz on April 06, 2018, 10:42
Having grown a bit at home for the last 10 years, we've finally got ourselves an allotment.  The children and I went for a visit last night to see which plot we'd been allocated.  It's been pre-loved rather than one of the brand new ones on the site so we've got a couple of raised beds on it and a lot has been covered with black plastic.  Here's hoping it's dry at the weekend so we can get started.  The children have written a "grow" list already.

Hello and welcome to the heavenly world of having an allotment!

You'll wonder how you ever did without it soon enough

Your new plot sounds good to go, Debz  :D

The late start this year is a bonus, as there is plenty of time for planting and sowing, and crops will catch up. You must be very excited!
