Title: Self watering trays in Greenhouse
Post by: Ghost on March 02, 2011, 16:24
Has anyone ever tried using something like this in the greenhouse? Do they work when you're on holiday?

Same principle as capillary matting, I reckon

I used to have a capillary matting system set up with wicks into lengths of gutter and a drip feed but it still used up all the water witin a couple of days.

The only thing that works when you're on holiday is a mate, and then only if they're not dossers  :)
