runner beans getting an extra crop off, remind me.

Some time ago, I read on here,

that if you stripped the leaves off your runner beans, the plant went into shock and threw out a small crop of beans.  

Can't remember the exact details, do you cut the leaves off or pick back to main stalk etc.

anyone remember it.

My early croppers were starting to wilt away and had stopped producing anything. I applied mkhenrys magic liquid and i now have a fair few flowers appearing on them!! Cheers muchly!!

What other veg would this liquid fertiliser be good for?
