Non-auto pop hole openers
« on: August 25, 2010, 13:40 »
I'm looking for a standard pop hole opener (that isn't automatic!)- you know the ones where the handle makes it look like something you'd open a tin of sardines with and it's got an elbow in the middle?

Does anyone know where I might get one? Thanks.

if this is for opening the pop hole whilst you stay out of the run, try some pulleys and a rope, far easier.

Thanks Both for your replies- @grumpydad, it's a horizontal opener, so whilst I'd gone through various potential configurations, I'd not thought of that as a solution. Thanks for your lucidity. 'Doh!', as Homer Simpson might say  :)

@Hayley'sHens- if you do have a spare knocking about, that's a very kind offer!

Just realised- I've not been around long enough to pm anyone. Could you pm me and let me know where you are and when would/ wouldn't be convenient for me to pop round?

Thanks!

Thanks again Hayley- the opener was the finishing touch, and I've now got some Black Pekin Bantams snuggled up in there!
